I am a teacher and a healer and am very particular about who works with me.  Healing work is very personal and so important for my journey.  After the great opportunity to work with indigenous healers, I felt dissatisfied with western trained healers and was seeking someone authentic and true.  Meri is that one and only healer for me. With a moment of grace, I found her during a search after finding many people and two right in my area.  I knew as soon as I saw her and read her information that she was the one I have been searching for, for so long.  I didn’t even read the testimonials.  I knew she was the real deal, and I was right!

I now travel a long distance to experience the most powerful, deep, spiritual, and personally tailored healing sessions I have ever experienced.  Each session is a bit different and specifically tailored to the moment.  She draws on her intuition, experience, and great knowledge base to make sure each healing is exactly what is needed, and it always is!

I love the healing environment that Meri has created.  It feels like a beautiful and safe nest.  I completely trust Meri and am amazed at the time and energy she puts into her work.  It is obvious that she was called to this healing work and that this is her passion.

I am writing this the day after a healing and wish I could convey the way I feel; so balanced, clear, clean, recharged, peaceful, strong, energetic, and joyful.  I had the best run this morning; better than I have had in some time.  It’s not just my body that feels amazing, but my heart is so full of joy that I was laughing out loud during my run as I felt the great joy and gratitude bubbling up and out with my renewed appreciation for life.

“When I first started researching about Kambo, I did it because I wanted to start drinking less.  I told myself, “Well, if the practitioner is close to me, then it’s a sign.”  I looked it up, and Meri was literally a 7 minute drive away.  I read her reviews and thought to myself, “Okay, Rosie, you have to do this!”  I booked an appointment and when I showed up at her place, I was immediately greeted by a warm and kind face.  I told her I was nervous, and she assured me that everything was going to be okay and I shouldn’t worry.  She was very gentle and made me feel comfortable, although my insides were freaking out.  I got the Kambo placed on me and threw up in a matter of minutes!  It was the worst 10 minutes, followed by the best feeling I have ever had after a throw-up session!  A peace came over me that I haven’t felt for a long time. It was magical! I felt a surge of energy and happiness. The days that followed made me feel more and more confident that I made the right choice.  I did want to have a cocktail but didn’t really crave having a nightcap anymore.  She recommended having Kambo 3 times in 28 days.  She called it “nature’s vaccine” and that with this I would benefit because it works much better than just having one treatment.  After the second session, I didn’t drink for two weeks straight and didn’t miss it at all!! “There are times in life when you meet somebody who has a tremendously positive impact on your life; for me, it is when I met Meri.

After years of struggling with many significant health problems, I was diagnosed with Late Disseminated Lyme, which is often referred to as Chronic Lyme disease by many.  I was put on a very aggressive antibiotic treatment which did not yield very good results.  Eventually, I abandoned the antibiotics because they were making me feel worse.  I tried many other treatments utilizing herbs but they yielded the same results.  I was really struggling and knew that things were not going to work out very well if I couldn’t find something to stop the progression of the disease. 

One day, a good friend of mine told me about a friend who also had Lyme disease and tried Kambo and had great results.  I started researching it and this led me to Meri.  I live several states away and made the decision to travel to NJ for treatment. 

It turned out to be one of the best decisions in my life.  When I arrived for my 1st session, I didn’t know what to expect.  I met Meri and it became very apparent that I had made a very good decision to have her do my treatments. She was awesome.  She made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed during the Kambo session.  It was immediately apparent that she was very experienced and a true professional.

My first session was incredible!  It was an experience that I will never forget.  I felt amazing immediately after my session.  I had been sick for so long that I forgot what it was like to feel good.  I honestly can’t recall how long it had been since I felt that way. 

Due to the fact Chronic Lyme is said to be incurable, I continued with the Kambo sessions.  As I’m writing this, I’m on my way up to NJ to see Meri for session number eight. It has almost been a year since I first started and I have still not had any issues with my Lyme. The brain fog, tremors, seizures, fatigue, chest pains, joint pain and just about every other symptom that is known to be caused by Lyme have disappeared.  I can’t, and won’t, say it’s gone for good, but in less than a year, I went from feeling horrible and considering leaving work on disability to feeling great and getting my life back.  Also, I’m not the only one who noticed the turnaround.  I have had many friends and family say that it’s amazing to see how much of an improvement they have seen since starting Kambo.

“My path first crossed with the Kambo frog in October of 2016.  I had an immense personal connection with the medicine and attribute its healing nature to giving me the power to turn my life away from the darkness I had wedged myself into.  I had lost my best friend and closest family member to a drug overdose; she was only 20 years old.  I was afflicted with survivor’s guilt and six years of unhealthy habits that Nessie and I had shared.  Four sessions and 36 dots later, I went from wasting away to pursuing life in ways I had never before imagined for myself.  I then left southern California in order to get home to my family in New York City and to say I was nervous about never finding a local Kambo practitioner is an understatement. 

I contacted my first practitioner in desperation – my move across the country was hectic, and I needed to cleanse myself of the negative energy that had accumulated.   I asked him if he knew anyone in the tri-state area and could he send me their information.  He recommended Meri.

Before going to her, I had only worked with male practitioners in a group setting.  I didn’t think that there was going to be much of a difference as long as the medicine was present.  I couldn’t have been more off.  Before we met in person, Meri and I corresponded through emails in which she asked me about my previous experience with Kambo and some background on where I was on my path through life.  When I told her that I was interested in a 3×3 treatment she responded with trepidation (a 3×3 treatment is when the medicine is applied three times in the span of three hours).  She advised me that it would be very intense and while she would prepare for it, she would make the final decision the day of, subsequent to supervising my first and second sessions.

I was invited into her home with open arms. The space provided has a warm, welcoming energy that made my fears subside and I knew that everything was going to be okay.  Everything was sparkling clean and there were even fresh towels set out in the bathroom for a shower following the ceremony.

Meri came through with attentiveness and genuine interest in making my experience as peaceful as possible.  She started with burning sage to clear the energy and sat with me as I drank water infused with electrolytes in preparation for the first ceremony.  She asked me where I felt I needed the points applied and obliged while exhibiting her extensive IAKP training.  After sensing my dedication to the medicine, she then proceeded to honor me with a tobacco prayer, as I could not do it myself due to my regular nicotine intake.  In this environment I was able to meditate on my intentions and clearly direct my mindset into the healing that was about to happen.

The first session I received 4 dots on my left shoulder, an area that was causing me a lot of pain. The burn points were brief and painless and, after purging for 20 minutes, I barely noticed her take the medicine off. I knew that I was going to be proceeding to the second session.

It was during this second session that the Kambo really started working on me. The next 5 points were administered on my left ankle and arm.  I had fractured my ankle a couple years ago and given it no time to heal.  I had a previous infection on my arm which I also did not care for as well as I should have at the time.  Both injuries had a lot of trauma and negative energy stored which was leaving me feeling stuck. During this part my leg started cramping up, and I could see the medicine working on my muscles to release the tension. Meri was right next to me, applying magnesium oil to the aggravated areas.  Once this session was completed, I was given soft blankets and pillows to rest on as sitting up was becoming difficult. The calming music Meri had playing led me to drifting off.  She let me rest in this state for a while, waking me gently to let me know that it was time for my third session to begin.

It was this session that was the most intense. We had spoken about chakra work and how she usually waits until the second or third time working with someone before agreeing to begin on said work; however, as I had moved through the ceremony with ease prior to this session, she then felt comfortable applying the medicine to my root chakra.  It was at this point that I had to get up and bottom purge and despite me being in a deep process, she gracefully led me by my arm to the restroom and was attentive to my well-being even though I was not directly in her view.  I felt cared for and was grateful for this, as being alone during a Kambo process can be very intimidating.

Once I had completed my journey through this intense process, Meri gave me ample time to shower and when I was done, there was delicious food waiting for me.  She then applied Sananga to my eyes and once those effects were over, she administered Rapé.  These supplementary medicines gave the ceremony a full circle feeling, and she followed them with a closing prayer.  

Before departing, she gave me a little bottle of dragon’s blood for self-application to ensure the burn points would fully heal.  She also made sure I was able to make my way back home safely and the next day followed up to see how I was doing, as recovery time was necessary after such a tremendous amount of healing.

Meri made me feel safe and comfortable for my most thorough Kambo ceremony to date.  She was fantastic all the way from the first session to the third, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is trying Kambo for the first time and also to those more experienced with the restorative powers of frog medicine.”

“On a recent trip to New York  (my first time in America ) I had an impulse to do Kambo after visiting the National Museum of American Indians  (I had some experience with Kambo before in Australia).  Through the official I.A.K.P. website, I contacted Meri by email hoping for a last minute opportunity to have a ceremony before leaving.  Meri replied promptly with her availability and instructions.  

I took the bus as she had instructed and arrived at her location.  She welcomed me at the door, and I instantly felt I was in good hands.  Although still a little nervous, as each time with medicine is different, I felt completely safe and supported.

Coming across Meri’s website was a blessing.  As soon as I read in her bio that she also has Systemic Lupus, I knew it was a sign that I needed to give Kambo a try.  I have so far been treated by Meri three times in the span of 28 days.  

I was diagnosed with SLE in 2015 and since then, I have been on numerous, toxic medications (all of which haven’t even helped).  Kambo has not only been an eye-opening, spiritual experience but a miracle as well.  For the first time since 2015, I haven’t needed steroids to be able to move.  In the beginning of last year, my boyfriend was dressing me, and I wasn’t even able to shower or self-care on my own. I stopped my steroids and prepared my mind to receive Kambo.  After the first treatment, the fact I could get out of bed, stand up and walk to the bathroom alone, was a miracle in itself. 

My head feels clear, and I feel more at peace with myself and my surroundings.  Before Kambo, I was always worried about how I would feel the next day or if I would be able to get out bed by myself.  Kambo has given me the confidence to look at my life from a different perspective.  I’m still alive, I have a great support system, and I’m slowly getting rid of all disease within me.  I still have minor joint pain but at least I can go through my days knowing that I don’t need those toxic steroids to feel okay. “Where does one begin to describe Kambo?  I guess you start by who you had the pleasure of sharing this beautiful medicine with.  It’s about the spirit of the mighty Frog, and the mighty spirit of the person holding space for you.  In my case, it was Meri and her wonderful cats, Emmett and Marley.  I took part in 3 days of Kambo.  This would be my 3rd-5th time doing Kambo.  The spirit of Kambo, Meri, and her space are all one in the same; it’s almost like you don’t know where one begins and one ends.  I felt comfort immediately – and with every step from our emails to our first meeting.  Meri knows how to read you and your energy and knows exactly what you need, before you even think of it.  My heart can’t express the gratitude I have for her and her babies… (especially Emmett who just knows exactly when you need him – – – Meri does ask if you want the cats locked away during the session beforehand).   Every experience with Kambo is different, but I can say though that my last three sessions were all the same.
