As a Ñusta Paqo, I can help you to bring balance to your body, mind and spirit through cleansings, soul retrievals, and blessings, depending on what is needed. In order to restore balance within the person, Paqos perform healings – being intermediators, bridges “chakanas” – between the sacred Spirits of nature and humans. Beautiful offerings are exchanged with the Spirits for their help. It is very important to us Paqos that we always do our work with “Ayni” which is a reciprocal exchange of living energy. The Ayni principles of reciprocity – to give and to receive….”Today for you, tomorrow for me.” When you give with love, you will receive with love too.
CHUMPI STONES CEREMONY
Chumpi Stones are used for cleansing and clearing the chakras which are the energy centers in our bodies. We use them as a guide to see where negative energy is stored in the body and to cleanse, heal and bring harmony to the 3 bodies (the spiritual, the physical, and the energetic bodies of the person).
“Chumpi” is a Quechua word that means “belt.” Each belt is part of “The Bands of Power” that are the protective rings or energy fields that surround a person. Each is linked to an energy center and acts to seal a person’s energy field and ward off harmful energies that sometimes find their way through our natural energetic defenses.
Sometimes these energy centers become blocked, closed, or weakened. The Chumpis can draw out dense energy and blockages and open them to flow properly.
The Chumpi Stones that I work with in my practice come from the Q’ero Nation in the Andean mountains of Peru and were “activated” to work with me in a sacred ceremony that I participated in. They are made of alabaster and meteorite and are hand carved by special artisans from that region.
The ceremony is done with the participant laying down and fully-clothed. The stones are then placed on the chakras.
SOUL RETRIEVAL CEREMONY
In western psychotherapy, soul loss is called disassociation. Paqos call it “susto” which means going through a shocking moment in one’s life, or being so scared, that at that moment we lose our energy and pieces of our soul to help cope with the trauma.
Your mind knows what it can and can’t handle, so it fragments and disassociates (or scatters) as a survival mechanism to protect itself from feeling the fullness of pain. In other words, Soul Loss initially happens to protect you rather than hurt you. It is a natural protective mechanism.
It is important to understand that soul loss is a good thing that happens to us. It is how we survive pain. If I was going to be in a head-on collision, the last place that I would want to be, at the point of impact, is in my body. My psyche could not endure that kind of pain, so our psyches have this brilliant self-protect mechanism where a part of our essence (soul) leaves the body so that we do not feel the full impact of the pain.
If you have ever said, “I have never been the same since a certain event happened” (and not in a positive way), soul loss has probably occurred.
Psychologists refer to this as disassociation, but they never discuss the subject of where that part goes. In shamanism, we know this part goes to another dimension/reality/location where it waits until someone in the spirit realm comes to assist in facilitating its return. Although soul loss is a survival mechanism, the problem in a shamanic point of view is that the soul part that left usually does not return on its own; the soul can be lost or does not know the trauma has passed, and it is now safe to return.
Coma is also a form of soul loss. In coma, there is more of the soul outside the body than in it. It takes skill on the part of the shaman to figure out which way the soul is trying to go. Does the soul want to re-enter the body, or does it need help moving on which would lead to death for the person.
Common symptoms of soul loss are disassociation where a person does not feel fully in his/her body and alive and engaged in life, chronic depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief that does not heal, addictions (food, drugs, alcohol, sex, shopping, etc.), numbness, restlessness, lethargic, angry, exhausted, confused, drained, depressed, hopeless, aimless, purposeless, carrying heavy energies, feeling something is missing, and feeling empty inside.
Common Causes of Soul Loss:
Any form of abuse (sexual, emotional, physical or mental).
An event of prolonged grief, pain and fear that made you feel helpless and impotent.
Deep-seated addictions (substance dependency, gambling, eating).
A near-death experience or an out-of-body altered states’ of consciousness experience.
Being forced to act against your morals or values.
An experience of intense rejection or abandonment.
Witnessing the unexpected death of someone.
A sudden and shocking accident.
Entering a relationship without strong personal boundaries, resulting in an unhealthy relationship where you’ve lost your personal power.
What Happens After Soul Retrieval?
Feeling more grounded in your body and more solid.
Feeling energized, awake and more alive.
Greater presence in the world.
More awareness of our choices, behaviors, and decisions.
Lightness and joy.
Awareness of vast amounts of energy you didn’t know you had.
Mental clarity and a new sense of hope.
Physical well-being and less sickness.
A sense of purpose and renewed direction.
Deeper sleep.
Overcoming addictive dependencies (drugs, food, work).
A newfound wholeness and sense of belonging.
As people feel more present in their bodies, and in the world, they become more conscious of behaviors that might be out of balance and disharmonious.
Once a person has his or her soul brought back, he/she now has to do some work. If the person has done a lot of personal work, the soul retrieval might be the end of the work. If not, the soul retrieval will be the beginning of the work. Then it will be up to the client to look at how to create a healthy lifestyle and attract healthy relationships that will support wholeness and a life filled with healing. How do we want to use the energy that was returned to us through the soul retrieval and our returned vitality to create a positive present and future for ourselves? How do we bring passion and meaning back to our lives again so that we thrive instead of just survive? “Life After Healing” is crucial to creating long-term healing after a soul retrieval.
The intent of this ceremony is to heal soul loss by bringing back the parts of your soul to you that left and asking the sacred Spirits from nature for the protection of your being. Through “calling the spirit,” the energy and vitality can be returned and improved; old habits are broken, and the person can then be on a new path of living a holistic life. Through guidance by the sacred Spirits, we can recover access to the natural sources of power, the main light that is the base for our connection with the divine.
DESPACHO OFFERING CEREMONY FOR BLESSINGS,HEALINGS, AND GRANTING OF SPECIFIC WISHES
A Despacho ceremony is the Andean practice of making offerings to the Apus (mountain Spirits), Pachamama (Mother Earth), and other Spirits in nature in reciprocity, reverence and thanksgiving. This ceremony can be held for many occasions – to heal emotional or physical illness, for a death or a birth, to restore harmony, to re-establish balance, to express gratitude, to manifest what we would like to happen in our lives or the lives of our loved ones, or for a specific request of the spiritual world.
A prayer bundle/offering will be created in a specific, ritualistic way, with the participant(s) involved, and then offered to the Spirits in a fire or by being buried. Ultimately, the Despacho offering goes back to Mother Earth, filled with prayers, along with the intentions and vibrations of those participating…a living request to bring energy shifts and healing in exchange for the continued love and care of Mother Earth.
NUSTA HEALING CEREMONY
This is an ancient Inca healing technique to cleanse, heal and bless each of our Chakras (Nawis).
Nusta means Princess or Queen and child of the Inca. It also means Kausai which means Living Energy. The Nustas represent the most beautiful female energies from Mother Earth, Mother Water, Mother Moon, Mama Qoto (Pleiadians), female mountains, and all female Spirits in charge of creation. The Nustas represent Pachamama and the Milky Way and the expression of the Mother energies. We use the Rainbow Bridge (not to be confused with the Rainbow Bridge where our pets go when they pass on) to connect to the Nustas. Paqos believe the rainbow is always around Pachamama, even if we don’t see it. The rainbow is a female element that comes from the Lower World. The rainbow represents the Nustas who are real and alive in another dimension. It connects us to the three dimensions as well: The Lower World, the Middle World and the Upper World. The rainbow is a bridge that transports cleansings, gives healings and gives blessings. The Nustas are like Angels; they want to help us. They can heal all the bodies: the physical body, the mental/emotional bodies, the soul body, and the energetic body. They will find the core of an issue and assist us in helping to bring back balance and give strength in difficult times. They are the highest female energies; wise energy and are the Spirit daughters of Pachamama. They bring balance to chaos and assist us in attaining happiness in our lives. They are like the wind…..they are everywhere.
The Nustas work with the seven Nawis which are the Andean Chakras. These are seven points of energy inside the body. Paqos call upon the specific Nusta in charge of the specific Nawi/Chakra to assist in the cleansing and healing of that particular Nawi/Chakra. There will first be a clearing/cleansing, then a healing, and then end with a blessing. The Nustas and I will do this for each of your Nawis/Chakras to give you a complete healing.
BENEFITS OBTAINED:
Cleansing heavy energies.
Healing and giving strength and your energy back.
Receiving beautiful, positive energy and good luck.
Healing emotional or physical problems, healing depression, and opening your heart.
Opening up the throat to improve communication and speaking more positive words.
Opening your Third Eye to increase your intuition and bringing back the energy of your soul that might have fragmented and departed which will give you more energy.
DISTANCE HEALING AND OFFERING CEREMONY
A distance healing ceremony is an energetic process where the client is in need of healing and is in one place and I, the Paqo, am in another location. You will receive the full benefit of the ceremony without being in the same physical location as me.
Many healing ceremonies can be adapted to the distance healing format. For example, Despacho Offerings have proven to be very effective in this format. I will determine if the ceremony can be conducted through distance healing.
